Ahoy, Jenny!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! For the majority of my past cruises, my family has been able to fly or drive in the day before, but it hasn't always worked out that way. Luckily, we have never had an issue making it by "All Aboard," so my hope is that this will be the case for your family on your upcoming cruise.
If you have purchased
air through Disney Cruise Line, they will help you get to the next non-U.S. port of call if you miss the ship. In the unlikely event of this situation, your crew will definitely need valid
passports for your flights. Regardless of who booked your air transportation, I highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will allow you to file a claim if something does delay you from arriving on time. There are many plans available to purchase, so a site like www.insuremytrip.com is a great to compare the various options. I always insure our trips, and it definitely puts my mind at ease if something were to happen.
I'm going to think positive thoughts about your travel plans, Jenny! If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
