Ahoy, Elizabeth!
You are just days away from a magical getaway on the
Disney Magic out of the Port of Miami! Are you about to burst with excitement? I know your crew is going to have an absolute blast!
I'm glad you asked this question because I don't want any stress when you arrive in Florida in just a few days. I've flown into Fort Lauderdale before and it took us about 30-40 minutes to get to the
Port of Miami area without any traffic. I'm going to assume you are not staying in Miami the night before since you are flying into Fort Lauderdale because some local hotels do offer shuttles to the port. Your best options both to the port and then back to the airport are going to be Uber or Lyft, a taxi, a shuttle service like SuperShuttle or a private car or limo. Uber or Lyft will probably be your cheapest option as taxis are typically a bit more. SuperShuttle (www.supershuttle.com) will charge a fee per person, and the most expensive option will be a private car or limo. I know Uber has a way to estimate the fare that you can check before you arrive so you can have a better idea of what to expect. The address for the port is 1103 N. Cruise Blvd. Miami, FL (Disney Cruise Line is Terminal F). The hotel you are staying at the night before the cruise can call a taxi for you, and there will be plenty waiting at the cruise terminal once you disembark.
Good luck with your travel plans, Elizabeth. Warm wishes for a MAGICal time next week!
