Aloha Alicia!
Thanks for bringing your question to us today. I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. You've made a great choice in accommodations for your trip.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect place to unwind and soak up some tropical vibes right in the heart of the magic.
The meals included with your
dining plan will all be available on your check-in day. I reached out to a Cast Member to confirm if there was a certain time they became active, but she just indicated that the full allotment will be available on your arrival day through midnight of your check-out day. You should have no issue enjoying a delicious breakfast or lunch on July 1st, even before your resort room becomes available. I'd recommend completing the online check-in process as you mention then making plans to feast while you wait for your room.
I can't recommend the Macadamia Nut Pancakes at
Kona Cafe enough. The portion is generous and will certainly keep you full while you enjoy time at The Lava Pool. You can use a Table Service Meal here if you have the
Disney Dining Plan, or place a
Mobile Order for Tonga Toast from
Capt. Cook's if you'd prefer to use a Quick Service Meal. I love grabbing a bite there and enjoying on the outdoor patio while I take in the peaceful sights and sounds.
As you use meals from your dining plan, you can check the remaining allotment in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. My fellow panelist Jennifer B also created a great
reel detailing the included Resorts Refillable Mugs for planDisney's Instagram. You'll definitely want to use your mug to its full thirst-quenching potential during your stay.
I hope this helped, Alicia. If we can answer any additional questions please come right back to planDisney and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
