    I am flying down 7/9/11 & staying at POFQ before I meet my brother on 7/10/11 at Boadwalk Inn. Can you see the Epcot firworks from POFQ? Where do they play the music and what time does it start at POFQ?

    Hi Diane,

    You can not see Illuminations from Port Orleans French Quarter or really from any where else except in Epcot. Illuminations takes place on the lagoon at the middle of World Showcase. The fireworks and globe are lower than Wishes or the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

    You may be able to see the tops of the fireworks from the Boardwalk or Beach Club but it will be an obstructed view.

    Illuminations starts nightly at 9:00 pm for guests and some guests line up as early as 8:00 pm to get a seat.
