We are flying in the day of our cruise Sept 21 YAY! (purchased Disney transport) was told to put luggage tags on before leaving home so we can skip baggage claim and luggage will find it's way to the ship is this correct even thou we are flying from Canada

    Ahoy Eugene!
It won't be long now before you get your first glimpse of the majestic Disney Fantasy in person!  She is a stunning vessel that you and your family will be lucky enough to call home for seven glorious nights!
I double checked with Disney Cruise Line about your question and verified that you will need to claim your luggage at baggage claim since you are traveling from Canada.  The agent did state that you can go ahead and put your tags on your luggage before leaving home, but customs does require you to pick it up. Once you have claimed it, you will be able to send it on the motor coach where you won't see it until later in the afternoon outside your stateroom door.
Best wishes for a magical voyage on the newest beauty in the Disney fleet, Eugene!  Please write back if you have any other last minute questions!
    Bon Voyage!
