    Flying in from Canada for our first Disney Cruise on the Magic next week, my 2 kids (9,6) have Canadian Passports but do they need their birth certificates as well? Should we bring them just in case or leave them at home?

    How exciting that it is finally time for you to set out on your high sea adventure.  If only Dr. Strange would let us use the time stone we could jump ahead a bit and get you and your family on board now!

    Having the correct documentation for your cruise is extremely important.  Thankfully since you are making the trip down from Canada and not as far as the reaches of Asgard (I think they are still working on documentation guidelines for Thor and his crew), Disney Cruise Line has posted a comprehensive overview of Passports, Visa and Citizenship Documentation required for each port.  It looks like for your sailing from Miami, Florida that an original, valid Canadian passport will be accepted.  I would recommend checking with your local state department or government agency to ensure you have the appropriate documentation for both your embarkation from Miami and to debark at each port.

    Make sure your little Avengers check out Eye Scream Treats for some complimentary soft serve once onboard.  Ice cream is one of our favorite embarkation day traditions in our family.  Grab a cone and head on over to Goofy's Pool to watch a movie on Funnel Vision to start your relaxing cruise off right.
