With the Flower and Garden Festival ends on May 16th, is it taken down right away or will some still be up on the 17th? We aren't planning on visiting Epcot until the 17th during our stay. Thanks

    Hi Stephanie,

I love visiting Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival. This year's theme, The Great Outdoors has offered some wonderful presentations and merchandise as well as amazing flower and topiary displays with Mickey and his pals. My boys love visiting Minnie's Butterfly garden and I love the rose path in full bloom.

There have been a few years that we were not able to arrive during the actual festival and did not visit Epcot until a few days after the end of the event. We were happy to find most of the flower and topiary displays still out for our enjoyment. Unfortunately you will miss any special topic discussions and presentations but you should be able to enjoy not only the beautiful flower displays, but also do a little shopping around through the International Gateway. Most of the temporary booths, that sell a variety of home and garden items, stay well past the festival end date.

Be sure to spend some time in the UK enjoying the garden path, it is one of my favorite locations. Wishing you a great time!
