Hi! We are Florida residents but we won’t have our car to use so I wanted to know if there were any deals on how to get to the park. Can Uber be used to drop us off at the parks? Our resort doesn’t have transportation because of COVID.

    Vicki,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, there are ride share drop-off areas at all four theme parks. At the Magic Kingdom Park the drop-off area is located at the Transportation & Ticket Center, leaving you just a scenic monorail or boat ride away from your day of fun! In the case of EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the drop off areas are near the front of their parks, leaving you with just a short walk to the magic.

As to alternatives, there are shuttle services available in the area. I have always found Mears to be a reliable service, though there are others. I would recommend that you get some estimates of the cost of these services and compare them to whatever Lyft or Uber are charging. My guess is that the convenience of the ride share services, as well as the ability to get right to the parks without possibly having to make other stops, will trump any cost savings. But it is always worth considering.

    BONUS TIP
Don't hesitate to use the Disney Transportation services to move about once you are in the resort. There are so many choices, including the monorail, the Disney Skylinerbuses, and boats. They are convenient ways to move about, and they can save you time and money.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
