Hey there, Christina, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by to ask me your question. Sharing the Disney magic is one of my favorite things about living locally to the theme parks. I love hearing that you want to spread the love, too! Let’s talk about the options you and your crew have.
Special offers for Florida residents at Disney World are exclusively for Florida residents. Although you may be able to prove your residency virtually when purchasing the tickets, everyone in your party will have to show proof of residency when you arrive. So, even if you’re with them as the Florida resident, they would still have to present a Florida identification card or another type of
official proof of Florida residency.
The good news is that you can still take a look at the current deals that could apply to your Floridian and non-Floridian friends and family on the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts webpage. There are some pretty good deals throughout the year, but you’ll want to bookmark the page to stay on top of the latest offers.
AN EXTRA GEM: When I have family and friends visiting from “out of town” who want to get their fill of Disney without going to the parks, I like taking them to
Disney Springs,
Disney’s BoardWalk, the mini golf courses, or even the lower-priced water parks. And between now and September 8, 2026, everyone connected to a booked Disney World Resort hotel reservation (regardless of residency) gets a
free water park day on check-in day!
Christina, I know that this may not be the answer that you were hoping for, but I hope that you can find the deal that works for you soon. Please
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
