Welcome to
planDisney, Tara! I’m so happy to know that you are busy planning a
Springtime visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family! Thanks so much for stopping in with your question.
You can always purchase your grandparent’s theme park tickets and just
link them to your own My Disney Experience account. If it’s all the same to them, you can plan it all for them and make your
Disney Park Pass Reservations for everyone at the same time. I’ve done this almost every time I’ve visited with my mom. It just makes things a bit easier when it comes to making sure everyone is on the same page. I always ask her if she has any “must-do’s” and make sure she’s taken care of when I start my planning.
Tara, when it comes to purchasing tickets for them, they would be using a regular theme park ticket, because they’re not Florida Residents. You can, however, make a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel for them and take advantage of your Annual Passholder discount or a
Special Offer for Florida Residents. Make sure to check for offers now when you’re adding those finishing touches to your trip!
It may be a good idea to
plan a table service lunch for everyone when you’re out and about during your adventures at the theme parks. It will provide a nice break for them to be able to sit and enjoy some air conditioning and a delicious meal in the middle of the day. I know my crew was happy to take a midday break when I visited last Fall. You can go ahead and make your dining reservations 60 days before your magical vacation.
I hope I’ve been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s always our pleasure to give you
planning tips and help you with all the details of your next
magical vacation!
