I am a Florida resident but my 3 year old grandson is not. When he visits and I bring him to Disney World can I buy him a Florida resident ticket?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Claudette! Your grandson is going to have such a blast with you during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks for stopping by to see us!

You can absolutely purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for your grandson now and can do so until he’s 18 years old. After that age, guests are asked to show Proof of Florida Residency in order to use theme park tickets meant for Mickey’s neighbors. Don’t forget that you can also use your Florida Resident status to take advantage of Special Offers at Disney Resort hotels.

To show Proof of Florida Residency, visit any ticket window at any of the four theme parks or the Disney Springs Guest Services location.

For a look at some magical experiences with your Mouseketeer in mind, visit the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page on the Disney site. There are lots of ideas in there to help you keep your grandson enjoying everything the resort has to offer!

Claudette, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions, you can always come back to see us. Helping you with the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
