    I am a Florida resident and was wondering if you know do they usually have discounts on hotels during the month of September? Thank you so much.

    Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today!  Lucky you to be a Florida resident and have Mickey so close by!

    Occasionally, there are discounts available to Florida residents on the room-only rates at Disney Resort hotels.  One way to get an idea of what's happened in the past, which can give us an idea of what might happen in the future, is to look at historical discounts.  My favorite unofficial site for this kind of information is www.mousesavers.com.  Looking there, I'm seeing that Florida resident room-only discounts have often been available during the month of September.  I can't say for sure whether that will be the case again in 2015, but hopefully so.  In 2014, it looks like the details on the Florida resident discounts for that time of year were released in early July, so it's possible that this year would follow a similar schedule.  I'd recommend keeping an eye out for information in starting a couple months from now.  

    You can also always check for available discounts by signing into your My Disney Experience account and visiting the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website.  If you're an Annual Passholder, Disney Vacation Club Member or member of the U.S. military, you'll also want to be sure those affiliations are added to your account so that you can view and compare all the great offers available to you.
