I am a Florida resident .two of my grandchildren live with me all summer. Can I buy discounted tickets for them?

Hi, Anna! Cool name, by the way.

As a former Florida resident, and having had Florida resident parents, I can say that you are absolutely able to enjoy Florida resident discounted tickets for your grandchildren when they are available. Only guests over the age of 18 are obligated to show proof of Florida residency, and since you will be purchasing their tickets as a Florida resident, you are able to take advantage of any discounted ticket rate. How's that for good news?

You may be aware, but there is a special Florida Resident Offers website, and you can check there for the best deals to take those amazing grandchildren to Walt Disney World. The most recent discount offers on tickets, rooms and special events will be listed there.

If they haven't had a chance to yet, try to get them to Pandora - The World of Avatar. My kids just visited for the first time over Christmas, and they cannot wait to go back. It is our new favorite part of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.

Thanks so much for your question, Anna, and happy planning!
