Hello, I want to get the Florida resident tickets for my brother he has a Florida ID but it’s expired can he still get the Florida Resident discount?

Hi, Asmah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. Walt Disney World Resort offers some fantastic room and ticket deals for Florida Residents. However, to make take advantage of these Special Offers, the ticket holder does need to provide proof of Florida residency, including a current, valid government-issued ID. In order for your brother to activate a Florida Resident Disney Theme Park Ticket, he will need to show his identification at Guest Services. He will need to replace that expired government-issued ID  for a current one in order for the Cast Member to activate the ticket.

If he is not able to replace it before your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, he does have a few other ticketing options. He can use a regular Disney Theme Park Ticket for your visit or you can look into the 4-Park Magic Tickets. These magical tickets include one admission to each of the Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park), for a total of 4 admissions. The ticket can be used to enter each theme park only once and does not include Park Hopper privileges. They are priced at a discount over the regular tickets, so they could be a great option for your brother!

I hope this information helps you plan for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
