    Hi Jan,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! Welcome!

How fun to hear you're planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! While the Walt Disney World Resort does offer some excellent discounted tickets for its local guests, Florida resident tickets are only available for purchase for adults that have approved Florida proof of residency.

Jan, do you happen to be an Annual Passholder? The Walt Disney World Resort just announced a new offer, Treat A Friend to a Magical Day!  This offer is for discounted 1-Day Park Hopper ticket for your family and/or friends. Up to six tickets may be purchased by each Annual Passholder.

Finally, please have a look at the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. There are often great discounts available for those that are planning upcoming vacations. I encourage people to bookmark this site and to visit often, as discounts come and go without notice.

Jan, please come back and see us with any additional planning questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
