My Florida resident nephews will be joining us on our trip in February. Their parents will not be joining us on the trip, how will we activate their Florida resident annual passes without proof of residency from a parent?

    Dear Cara,

I'm so glad that you took the time to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

How generous that you are taking your nephews to experience the joy and wonder of the Walt Disney World Resort! Florida residents do not require proof of residency if they are under 18, as long as the purchasing parent or guardian has Florida resident identification. In order to qualify for Florida resident ticket pricing, their parents who reside at the same address could purchase the tickets and activate them. Once they are activated, you as the aunt won't have any trouble using the tickets to get into the parks with the children, even without their parents present.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
