Nikki from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a Florida resident who does monthly payments for my annual pass and I have an additional annual pass on my contract for someone else. When I go to renew, how do I just renew one for myself and cancel the other one?

Welcome to planDisney, Nikki, and thanks for stopping by with this question. As a fellow Floridian and Annual Passholder, I love the benefits we receive on Walt Disney World Resort vacations. The renewal window for my Pixie Dust Pass will open in a couple of months, so I need to decide if I will upgrade. One of my favorite passholder benefits has been the discounts at restaurants because, well, I like to eat!

Since I have yet to go through the renewal process, I called the Annual Passholder line and spoke to a friendly Cast Member about your situation. First, she said that if your email preferences allow, you will receive an email alerting you when your renewal window opens. This window will open 60 days before your expiration date, and you'll have until 30 days after your pass expires to renew and make any changes. I have those dates on my calendar because I do NOT want to miss my renewal window!

Once your renewal window is open, the Cast Member recommends you log in to your My Disney Experience account on a computer which is more user-friendly for the renewal process than the mobile app. You should be prompted to begin the process one guest at a time, so when you click on your name, you can renew your current pass level or switch to any of the available annual passes

After completing your renewal, you will select the other pass and choose Renew This Pass Later. If you do nothing else, this pass will expire and fall off 30 days after its expiration date.

Before I go, I wanted to ensure you've taken advantage of June's V.I.Passholder Days. The Figment magnet is adorable, and the increased discounts on merchandise have been phenomenal! I may or may not have several new backpacks to show for it.

Nikki, I hope I've helped you with the renewal process for your Annual Pass. Please stop by planDisney anytime with questions or to chat about Disney!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
