John from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a Florida resident. Last year guest relations cast members suggested I buy a special Florida resident only 4 day Disney World pass for my non resident grandchildren children ages 4 and 6. Is that still possible for the current resident only 4 day pass

Hi John, welcome back to planDisney! I’m so glad you’re here, and how exciting that you’re planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth with your grandchildren. A Disney trip is always special, but I’m sure getting to experience the parks through their eyes takes the magic to a whole new level. From those character hugs to those unforgettable ride reactions, you’re on your way to make lasting memories together. I’m so excited for you!

Florida residents definitely enjoy some fantastic ticket offers and special promotions, but these discounts are limited strictly to Guests who live in the state. Unfortunately, that means they can’t be used to purchase tickets for family members, including grandchildren, who live outside of Florida. Each Guest must individually meet the residency requirements in order to take advantage of those savings.

I know that’s not quite the pixie-dusted news you were hoping for, but the good news is there are still some really nice deals available. Right now, Disney+ subscribers can take advantage of a Spring Ticket Offer that includes a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket with access to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom. While Magic Kingdom isn’t part of this offer, it’s still an excellent value, and you always have the option to add a separate one-day ticket if Cinderella Castle is high on your must-see list.

Your visit will line up perfectly with the start of EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival, which is such a fun time to be in the park. My kids especially love the interactive scavenger hunts around World Showcase, and spotting all the incredible character topiaries is always a highlight too.

John, I hope this helps as you plan your family’s trip, and that you have the most wonderful time together. If any other questions pop up along the way, we’re always happy to help here at planDisney!
