    Hello! I am a Florida resident and want to by Disney three day tickets for myself and my boyfriend who is not a Florida resident. Is that possible? As long as I am there at roll call with my Florida license, is it okay that he is not a Florida resident?

    Hi Victoria!

    Living close to the Magic of Walt Disney World does have advantages.   Residents of the Sunshine State either part-time or full-time are able to take advantage of amazing discounts and deals on tickets and Disney Resort hotel stays. My mother-in-law lives in Florida and uses her Florida resident discounts quite often.  

    Victoria, in order to take advantage of these special discounts you must present proof of Florida residency for each ticket purchased for an adult 18 years and older.  Most of the time adults use their driver's license, State ID cards or Florida based military IDs to proof residency.   Since your boyfriend is not a resident you would not be able to buy a Florida Resident ticket for him, since he won't be able to proof residency.  You can purchase him a regular theme park admission online or when you arrive at the park.    When you purchase your ticket you will need to stop by a ticket window outside the theme park and show your residency proof.  This process is quick and you should be on your way in no time.
