    I am a Florida resident and my children and grandchildren are coming for a reunion in Kississimee. We will be attending Disney. Can I purchase discount tickets a few days before going to the park for all? Do they have to show ID to get in the part?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Harnitha! In just a few weeks you will be enjoying a family visit to the Disney World Resort. I’m so excited for you!

    You can absolutely purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for your grandchildren and yourself. Guests over the age of 18 are asked to show Proof of Florida Residency in order to use theme park tickets meant for Mickey’s neighbors. This means other adults in your party would not be able to use tickets meant for Florida Residents, if they live out of state.

    You can show Proof of Florida Residency at any ticket window at all four theme parks and at the Disney Springs Guest Services location, to activate tickets you have purchased for yourself and your grandchildren.

    Harnitha, don’t forget that you can use your Florida Resident status to take advantage of Special Offers at Disney Resort hotels. Your family is welcome to stay with you!
