    Kathleen from MA Asked

as a florida resident, can i buy my 7 yr old grandchild a 5 day discounted park ticket yet purchase a 3 day discounted park ticket for myself?

    Hi there, Kathleen!

Or should I call you Fairy Grandmother Kathleen?

You are absolutely able to purchase Florida resident discounted tickets for both yourself and your granddaughter. You do not need to purchase the same ticket for each of you, so there is no problem with you purchasing a 3-day ticket for yourself and a 5-day ticket for her.

Florida resident discounted tickets must be activated before they are used, so you must go to the parks with your granddaughter on the first day that she uses her ticket to provide your valid proof of Florida residency. Once her ticket has been activated, she is free to go without you.

I hope that this answered your question, Kathleen. What a wonderful gift you are giving your granddaughter. Nothing can replace the quality time and memories that you will make. Be sure to take plenty of pictures!

    See you real soon!
