    I am a Florida resident. I want to buy a Florida resident ticket to theme parks for my visiting granddaughter (almost age 15). I am too old to do park. Can ticket get activated when I provide proof on line without showing up at park to activate?

    I’m happy to report that you can absolutely gift your granddaughter a Florida Resident theme park ticket. You will be able to provide your Proof of Florida residency during the check-out process.

    You will need a valid Florida driver's license, a valid Florida state-issued ID card, or a valid Florida-based military ID.  The system will give you the option to verify your ID before you check-out online. But it is important to know that guests who are under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult who is a Florida resident when using these tickets.
