I am a Florida resident. Can I buy discount tickets for my granddaughter when I bring her to the park

Hi there Anne! Or should I call you Fairy Grandmother?

How excited your granddaughter must be for your upcoming magical day. I just know that you will make enough memories to last a lifetime.

As long as your granddaughter is a minor, you will be able to purchase a Florida resident ticket for her. Any adults, however, must have their own proof of residency to take advantage of a Florida resident discounted ticket. So make sure that you bring your Florida ID or other proof of residency.

Anne, you will also need to be with your granddaughter to activate her Florida resident ticket, so she won't be able to go solo, but that doesn't sound like a problem for your situation.

To ensure that you capture every magical moment, I highly recommend that you purchase Memory Maker. I find that photographs of my loved ones on rides and in front of iconic backgrounds make for my absolute favorite souvenirs.

Please come back here if we can answer any other questions to make your vacation as magical as you are! Unlike Cinderella's carriage, we here at planDisney don't disappear at midnight.
