Jennifer from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am a Florida resident and would like to book a hotel room. There is a discount for Florida residents, would everyone in the room have to be a Florida resident to get the discount?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer! I’m glad you stopped by with your question.

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely magical. While staying at some of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels, I make sure to spend as much time at the Resort hotel as I can. The Guest Benefits the Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer are absolutely wonderful. From pool time, unique activities at every Resort hotel, to the delectable cuisine, it’s hard to leave!

I’m happy to tell you that only one Guest must be a Florida Resident to be able to receive the Florida Resident discount! Proof of Florida residency includes any one of the following photo identifications: Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card with a Florida address, or a Florida-based military ID. You can confirm proof of residency through the My Disney Experience app when you check-in online or when you arrive at the Resort hotel for check-in!

Did you know Florida Residents also receive special discounts on Theme Park Tickets? Keep checking the Florida Residents - Special Tickets, Passes, and Offers page for more details on updated offers!

Jennifer, I hope you and your party have the most magical time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
