    As a Florida resident and annual passholder, would I be able to purchase tickets to Disney World and make reservations at a resort for my friends who are coming in from out of state? Do I get a discounted rate for them? Thank you!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen! Thanks for stopping by with your question about planning a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. 

    Florida Residents and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can take advantage of some pretty great offers. When it comes to using your benefits, you wouldn’t be allowed to book reservations for friends or family, but they could stay with you. 

    Florida Resident theme park tickets can only be used after they are activated. Tickets are activated at theme park ticket windows or the Guest Services location at Disney Springs by showing Proof of Florida Residency. Out-of-state guests would not be able to use tickets meant for residents.

    Kathleen, Mickey and his friends have Special Offers for every season of the year. I would encourage your friends to visit Disney's Special Offers web page to take a look at the offers available to them. It’s very possible that one of the offers will coincide with the dates of their next stay. It's important to note, that you can always modify an existing reservation to add an offer!
