Does a Florida resident annual pass expire one year from date of purchase or December 31 of year purchased

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maryjane! Thanks for sending us your question about Walt Disney World Annual Passes.

Your annual pass will expire one year from the day of your activation. There are a few different options for Florida Residents when it comes to purchasing an annual pass. Florida Residents also have the option to make monthly payments for their passes. It’s so convenient!

Maryjane, when your pass is up for renewal, you will receive paperwork in the mail. But even after it expires, you will have 30 days after your expiration date to be able to renew your pass for a promotional rate.

There are so many benefits you and your family can enjoy as Walt Disney World Annual passholders! I always like to take advantage of Disney Resort hotel room and restaurant discounts. The passholder offerings are my favorite perk! I love those special event magnets!

I hope you enjoy your year of magical experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort. Don’t hesitate to visit us again soon if you have any more questions. Helping you with the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
