Hello! I would like to use my Florida residency to purchase tickets for my out-of-state nieces and nephews. Do I have to be with them when they arrive with their parents at Disney World for them to receive their tickets at will-call?

Hi Leanne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m sure your family will have an amazing visit at the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s very generous of you to purchase tickets for your nieces and nephews! I bet you will have a secured spot for the aunt of the year award for 2018!

Florida Resident Disney tickets may be purchased online and picked up at will call or they can be purchased at any of the 4 theme park ticket windows. The only way to activate any tickets for Florida Residents, even for children under the age of 18, is if you are present and show Proof of Florida Residency when they are being picked up. The good news is, once the tickets for your nieces and nephews are activated, you would not need to be there any of the other days the tickets are valid. Even though it would be so much fun if you did join them!

Leanne, I hope your family has a wonderful vacation. Feel free to come back and see us if you have any more questions!
