Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kimberly.
You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney! With less than two months left to go on the countdown to your magical vacation, your excitement must be bursting at the seams. You're going to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, and you'll be there during
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Is there anything better?
I’m sorry to hear your flight time was adjusted so drastically. I imagine that news was less than magical, but the good news is you won’t need to worry about losing your room at your Disney Resort hotel due to your late arrival. Using the
Online Check-In service in your
My Disney Experience App ahead of time is essentially the same as checking in at the Front Desk of your Resort in person, so your room will be ready and waiting for you. Make sure you’ve enabled notifications for the mobile app on your smart device so you receive the real-time status updates of your room. Once your room is ready, you will receive a notification with your room number and will
be able to go directly to it when you arrive. Even if you decide to forgo Online Check-In and instead decide to check in at the Front Desk in person at 1:30 a.m., your room will still be reserved for you. My husband and I usually don't arrive at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel until at least 12:00 a.m. midnight and have never had any issues, so breath a great, big, beautiful sigh of relief!
Be sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for exciting Walt Disney World Resort news and updates. I’m hopeful more information on how the launch of
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will work will be coming out soon, and I’m sure those details will come in super handy on your trip.
Kimberly, I hope this information helps. Please stop by
planDisney again if you have further questions for us. We are all EARs and happy to help!
Enjoy your magical vacation,
Alyssa
