Our flight leaves MCO at 12:40. Will the DCL shuttle be able to get us from Port Canaveral to the airport in enough time so we don't miss our flight home or should we find another form of transportation if we are cutting it to close. Thanks

Welcome aboard, Courtney! You must be getting close to setting sail with Disney Cruise Line! How exciting! You'll really enjoy arriving at the Orlando International Airport because that means your cruise ship is waiting to take you on your dream vacation! However, the next time you are at the airport, it'll be bittersweet, as you will have just left your fabulous Disney cruise ship and will be headed home with many magical memories.

Disney Cruise Line recommends that guests utilizing their ground transfers book flights departing at 11:30 a.m. or later, so your 12:40 flight will be just fine. If you're nervous about getting there in time, just be sure to head off the ship as soon as you're done with breakfast in the morning and you'll be all set. The latest that guests can leave the ship is 9:00 a.m., but debarkation normally begins around 7:30 a.m. The return trip to the airport from Port Canaveral takes about an hour.

If you've enjoyed the Main Dining dinner time throughout your cruise, you'll be assigned a breakfast time of 6:45 a.m. that last day in one of the restaurants. Those with the second dinner seating will be assigned 8:00 a.m. for their last day's breakfast. You'll want to use that time to say goodbye to your servers who have been with you all cruise each night. They really do become like part of the family. However, Cabanas will be open for a quick buffet breakfast that final morning, should you choose to skip the sit down meal time.

Once you're done, simply head off the ship. There are motorcoaches that will depart for the airport on a continuous basis, so you won't have to wait long to be on your way.

I hope those details help, Courtney! Have fun planning and have a magical cruise!
