Hi Lannie,
Bright suns and welcome to planDisney, thank you for your question!
It’s so exciting to hEAR that you’re going to be a part of the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! My friend
Michelle got to experience this earlier this year and she said it was truly out of this world exciting.
Lannie, based on the
sample itinerary, you’ll be leaving the Starcruiser around 9:30 a.m., so you’ll almost have a whole day to enjoy some of the sights and sounds of the Walt Disney World Resort. My best recommendation would be to head over to
Disney Springs to hang out. I know you’ll have your bags with you, so you’ll want to take a look at the
map and think about how you’d like to move around Disney Springs in advance. Would you like to do some clothing shopping or would you rather browse
World of Disney and some of the Walt Disney World Resort specific stores on that side of the shopping pavilion?
After your shopping, you can have lunch or a snack at many of the restaurants at Disney Springs! You should definitely check out your
dining reservation options or you can mobile order at locations like
Deluxe Burger. If you want to take a break, you could also head over to the
Guest Relations Lobby at Disney Springs. They have some comfortable rocking chairs under shelter, so you’d be able to relax a bit and just enjoy the atmosphere. In the past, this Guest Relations area also held bags for guests (subject to availability). It's worth the ask, but if it's not available no worries! You can definitely still enjoy those rocking chairs.
Once you’re ready to head to the Orlando International Airport, I suggest using a ride-share service (ex. Lyft) on the final part of your journey home. Make sure to get to the airport 3 hours or more early just to make sure you have plenty of time to catch your flight!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your adventure aboard the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
