I have a flight out from FLL at 11.30 AM, I have a bigger size group with few senior citizens who have mobility issues, should I change to a later flight?

    Hello, Sathish!

Welcome to planDisney, where we are dedicated to helping Guests like you with answers to their Disney vacation questions. It sounds like you have booked a magical family sailing on Disney Cruise Line. How exciting! I am happy to give you guidance regarding your flight departure time from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

According to the guidelines on the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation page, the earliest time recommended for flights on debarkation day is 11:00 AM. Fortunately, Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades are a short distance apart, approximately 3 miles, and a 10- to 15-minute drive, depending on traffic. This bodes well for your 11:30 AM departure time. If you still feel uncertain and want to ensure you have plenty of time to arrive at the airport, check luggage, and not feel rushed, you can bump your flight to a bit later.

I’m wishing you and your family smooth seas and a magical sailing, Sathish! If you have more questions, please ask us here at planDisney. We are happy to set sail in search of answers for you!

    Happy Sailing!
