Heigh-Ho Shamika,
While departure day can feel a little unmagical it doesn’t have to be. Guests are asked to checkout from their Disney Resorts Collection hotel at 11:00 a.m. Typically, requests for an extended checkout have politely been declined.
On one of my last two visits, I called the Front Desk in the hopes of a later checkout time but was politely informed it could not be honored. And rightfully so, because Mousekeeping is taking on a bigger task and in need of more time to prepare the rooms. Prior to Guest arrival, via recommendations from governmental authorities and health agencies, each room is thoroughly cleaned and floors are vacuumed and steamed. High-touch areas are especially given extra special attention, for peace of mind. This includes TV remotes, all door handles, counter surfaces both in the living area and bathrooms amongst other obvious items, which we come in contact with. Guests will have the option to for-go daily light Mousekeeping or have the daily service. This modified service will include the removal of trash and towels, the replenishment of towels, and amenities (coffee, sugar, tea, lotion, soap, etc.), vacuuming, and the wiping of counter surfaces. Mousekeeping is working very hard to make sure your home is comfortable and safe. While it never hurts to ask you may find they can not accommodate your Wish.
But do not let that deter you from enjoying every bit of last pixie dust you can enjoy. Bell Services is happy to store your luggage if you would like to enjoy your Resort a bit longer or perhaps pop over to
Disney Springs prior to your departure. Make sure you keep your eye on the clock and take into account travel time because we wouldn’t want you late for a very important date or flight.
If I can help with any further curiouser and curiouser inquiries you may have
feel free to ask and check out the

Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
