Hi there, Kris! Welcome to planDisney! There is nothing quite as special as a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! The Disney Parks, as well as the resort hotels, take on a little extra magic during the most wonderful time of the year!
At the present time, Guests are still required to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the Disney Parks. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you are required to make a reservation for the first park you visit. Guests with Park Hopper tickets do not have to make reservations for parks they will visit after their first park. So, even though you won’t be arriving until later in the day, you’ll still need to make a reservation if you plan on visiting any of the four Disney Parks.
Disney Park Pass reservations will no longer be required for date-based theme park tickets beginning on January 9, 2024!
Here is a holiday season PRO TIP for you, Kris! While the Disney Parks and resort hotels are incredibly festive, don’t forget to visit
Disney Springs! My favorite experience during the holiday season is the Christmas Tree Trail! Here you’ll find tree after tree themed to some of your favorite Disney characters, movies, attractions, parks, and resorts!
Happy Planning!
