Hi there, Josie!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for stopping by with your question!
Josie, I know all too well about getting to the magic as the clock strikes midnight. Rather than your carriage turning into a pumpkin, it’s quite the opposite! I also understand the importance of a seamless arrival, especially when you’ve spent a day traveling to your destination!
I have used a grocery delivery service for my
Walt Disney World Resort vacations a few times, especially during those red-eye flights. It’s nice to have snacks, water bottles to stay hydrated, and milk for my little Mousketeers who need it before bedtime! A friend of mine recently stayed at
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and had a few things delivered before her arrival. Her grocery delivery was dropped off at Bell Services and they kept the perishable items in a refrigerator for her. There is a $6 fee for delivering groceries to hotel rooms so if you would like to avoid that, you can pick up the order from bell services.
Josie, during these unprecedented times, Walt Disney World Resort has worked tirelessly to make Guest and Cast Member safety a priority, and policies are constantly changing. I would err on the side of caution and call your Resort hotel to see how they are handling the deliveries during your visit. You can find your
Resort hotel phone number by going to the Resort hotel website, clicking at the Overview tab, scroll down under the Resort Map on the right-hand side, you will see the
Resort Address and
Phone Number.
To make your arrival even easier, I would encourage you to
Check-In Online for your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. That way, you can head straight to your Resort hotel room without making any stops! Also, be sure to go over the
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go page. It’s a helpful guide that has information about services, amenities, dining options and so much more! And just in case you're like me and forget some items from your grocery list, you can always visit your Resort hotel gift shop which houses essentials like water, snacks, some over the counter medicine, and Resort hotel logo souvenirs that I absolutely adore collecting!
Josie, I hope you have the bibbidi bobbidi best vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Aena
