Our flight to Disney World was canceled today. We have to cancel a Park reservation and switch it to another day. We tried to do that and it says we have already reached our max. How do you cancel a day at a park and switch it to another day?

Welcome to planDisney, Cathy!  We are glad you brought your question to us today.

I'm sorry to hear your flight was canceled -- I know it can be stressful trying to adjust your plans.

It sounds like you are on the right track.  Guests may make Disney Park Pass reservations for each day of valid admission on their theme park ticket.  To make a reservation for a different day, you would first need to cancel a prior Disney Park Pass reservation.

I just tested out the Disney Park Pass reservation system with a ticket linked to my account to try to help you troubleshoot.  Once I had already made reservations for the number of days on the ticket, I received a message that I had reached my Park Pass limit when trying to make an additional reservation.  As soon as I canceled one of the reservations, I was immediately able to book a Disney Park Pass reservation for a different day.  I recommend viewing "My Plans" on the My Disney Experience website or "Future Plans" in the app.  If the Disney Park Pass you need to cancel is still there, select "View Details" on the website or select the pass on the app to find the option to cancel.

One thing you may need to do is adjust the start date of your ticket so it is valid for your new dates.  You should be able to modify your ticket up until midnight ET of the day prior to the ticket's original start date.  I prefer to view and change my tickets using the My Disney Experience mobile app rather than the website.  In the app, select the menu button in the lower right corner and then select "Tickets and Passes".  You should be able to view each ticket's valid dates and find the change option below.

If the dates of your ticket don't seem to be the issue, try signing out of your account and then signing back in.  If you are still unable to make your new Disney Park Pass reservation, give the Help Center a call at 407-939-7917, or try the chat feature on the Help Center page.

Cathy, I hope you soon have your travel plans resolved and will be on your way to soak up all the magic of Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration.  If you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again.  Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
