Hi! My five year old son has just discovered the 101 and 102 Dalmations movies. He absolutely loves them and wonders if we will be able to see them anywhere at WDW. I told him I would ask. Aeden would love to hear back!

    Hi Amy,

I have several ideas for how your son can satisfy his interest in the Dalmatians:

    1. He could meet Cruella. Cruella is often greets guests in the parks. To find out exactly where she will be, you should stop by the Guest Relations office at one of the theme parks and ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. They will be able to tell you where and when Cruella, or any character, is appearing during the time of your visit. Cruella is, well, a bit DeVilish, but usually in a funny or campy way that is not threatening to children.

    2. He could see giant Dalmatians. I see from another post that you're staying at the Beach Club, but it might be worth it for you to make a little side trip to the All Star Movies resort. There is an entire area of that resort that's called the 101 Dalmatians section. There are GIANT (three stories tall) statues of Pongo and Perdy. You could get to this resort by taking the All Star bus from any of the theme parks.

    3. He could have a photo taken with Dalmatians. Well, not real ones, but animated cutouts. If you go into Exposition Hall, on the right just as you enter the Magic Kingdom, and go past the photo sales areas, you will see a cute little theater playing clips from old Disney cartoons. In this area, there are sturdy life-sized 2D models of scenes from several movies. One of them is from 101 Dalmatians. Your son could stand in the scene and, if you took his photo, it would look like he was in the film.

    4. You could buy him a Dalmatian. Often, there are plush Dalmatian toys for sale in the WDW shops. The largest stores are the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney, Mouse Gear in Epcot, and the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. These are the most likely spots (pun intended) for you to find him a furry friend.

Hope you have a great time on your trip!
