I have a five year old who loves the Cars movie and Lightning McQueen... Where can we find things for him?? Are there any rides or parades that feature him or anyone from the movie??

So while there are no attractions that currently feature the stars of Cars, they do have regular character greeting opportunities with both Lightning McQueen and Mater throughout the day at the Hollywood Studios.

The characters they have created to greet kids are VERY COOL! The experience is very well executed, and I think it is worth making your way to see. As to the when and where, that is a bit harder to nail down. Traditionally I have seen them in the open space at the very center of the park, near the Sorcerer's Hat.

Since schedules for these kinds of encounters can change often, and without public notice, I would recommend that on the day that you visit this park that you ask a cast member as you enter both the time and location where your son can plan on meeting them. They have a central info line that they can call to get that information. You might even try having a cast member call the day before hand, even if you are at another park, to see what the next day's schedule might be.

    I hope that this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
