Hiya Caroline!
Welcome to planDisney and congratulations on your upcoming trip to the
Disneyland Resort! I'm glad that you were able to view your Hotel Reservations which I imagine is just getting everyone more excited for the visit!
If you've booked a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package through your travel agent, please be aware that the actual tickets will not be attached to your Disney account until four days before your arrival. You should have received a confirmation email when the package was originally booked but you won't be able to see any tickets until the aforementioned date. Park reservations should have been placed for you as well and it's important to double check on that to make sure they're secured. And don't forget that
dining reservations will open up 60 days before your visit.
Which hotel did you select for your stay? You can't go wrong with any of them, but my favorite has always been the original
Disneyland Hotel! As a big Disneyland Resort history fan, I love how that property preserves and commemorates the stories and history of such a magical place. Also, the Pixar Place Hotel just recently opened and I'm seeing some wonderful pictures from the redesign. They did a fantastic job on that refurbishment and I can't wait to stay there myself!
Fun Fact: The Disneyland Hotel had a very inauspicious beginning when it first opened on October 5, 1955. There were only seven rooms available for Guests that first night but it quickly expanded and had its official Grand Opening in August of 1956, then boasting 204 rooms, a swimming pool, and several shops and restaurants.
Caroline, I hope that this gave you some reassurance and that your trip planning is going well. Please feel free to visit us again if you have any more questions because we'd love to be involved in your vacation planning. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
