Ahoy, Jill!
Congratulations on your inaugural sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line! Even though my crew has vacationed with Captain Mickey "minnie" times, we still feel the same excitement every time we board a Disney ship. For us, there's just nothing that compares to the incredible level of service, beautiful accommodations and all the fabulous amenities and activities offered onboard. As my children have grown up, they've been able to enjoy new experiences during our cruises, which makes each one of our vacations unique and different. I really do hope this will be the first of "minnie" cruises for your family, Jill!
The Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team does an amazing job of offering a variety of experiences ashore for Guests of all ages. Safety is their number one concern so the age guidelines are set for this reason. When you are able to sign-up for your excursions online, the system will only allow you to book the experience for Guests that meet the age requirement. Since your princess isn't quite five yet, maybe you could consider another splashtacular option like the
Cayman Dolphin Encounter or the
Rum Point Beach Adventure. You can save Stingray City Reef Sail and Snorkel for your next sailing, which will give you something to look forward to in the future.
Jill, good luck with your plans for your Western Caribbean cruise. We hope you'll sail back over to "sea" us with more questions about your first vacation with Disney Cruise Line!
