This is the first year we are doing the dining plan and making multiple reservations. I'm so confused. What is the outside window - 180 or 90 days? I keep reading conflicting reports, and don't want to miss essential character dining week of Dec. 13-19.

In years past the window for making dining reservations at WDW had been 180 days. However, several months ago this was changed to 90 days. Currently, the reservation window for all dining, tours, and recreation at Walt Disney World is now 90 days. For a trip with a check-in date of December 13, 2009, the first day that you can call for dining reservations is September 14, 2009.

And by the way, you've chosen a GREAT time for a trip to Disney World. You'll be able to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations, but you'll be leaving before the holiday crowds arrive. Have a wonderful vacation!
