Our first winter cruise going out of Galveston Dec. 16-23. Wondering what type of clothes to pack? Do I need summer or winter?

    Ahoy, Bernard!
Your Very Merrytime Cruise on the newly re-imagined Disney Wonder is rapidly approaching, and I'm sure packing is on the top of your to-do list! I always recommend keeping a close eye on the weather as your vacation draws closer because the weather this time of year can be unpredictable. You may experience cooler temperatures as you make your way to your ports of call (60s and low 70s) so I suggest planning layers for the days at sea. It may be cool or windy on deck so you'll want to be prepared especially once the sun goes down. But, you'll be happy to know that once the outside temperature drops below 75 degrees, the pools will be heated so don't forget the swimsuits. The inside of the ship can be cool even this time of year, so a light jacket or sweater is good to have on hand for the evenings. Once you reach the ports of call, you will most likely be comfortable in your summer attire-shorts, t-shirts and sandals. Again, I suggest checking the highs and lows for Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Cayman before departing. I think you'll find the temperatures on these islands quite comfortable.
I'm so glad you stopped by with your cruise question, Bernard! Enjoy counting down the final days until your magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line!
    Have a "Wonder"ful day!
