First WDW trip. ADR @ Chef Mickey's on 9/27 @ 1:35pm. Not sure which parks to do that day before and after our lunch reservation. We have a 4 day PH which expires on 9/30 so we don't want to waste a morning by not visiting a park.

Hi Lynn! How exciting that you'll be in Disney World for the first time in just a few weeks! I agree with you -- there's so much to see and do at Disney that you don't want to waste a minute!  The Magic Kingdom would be the most convenient park for you to visit before your lunch at Chef Mickey's. It's scheduled to open at 9 a.m. that morning, so you'd have plenty of time to ride lots of attractions before your reservation. Start heading out of the park around 1 p.m. -- you can take the monorail or walk to the Contemporary to reach Chef Mickey's. Either way, the trip will take about ten minutes or so.

After lunch, you could hop on the monorail and return to the Magic Kingdom just in time to catch the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade at 3 p.m. Or if you want to try another park for the afternoon, you could change trains at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take the monorail to Epcot.

Have fun eating lunch with Mickey and the gang! Hope your first visit is magical!
