    This is our first visit & I'm going with my mom(50yrs), my sister(10yrs), my fiance(25yrs) and myself(25yrs). We're going on the Bahamas cruise first and then come back on Thurs Nov.11-Wed Nov.17. What order do you suggest we visit the parks in? Thanks

    Hi Amanda!

    Sounds like you're planning a wonderful vacation! Although you don't mention if you'll be at a Disney Resort, or if you'll have tickets for all days, I'm going to suggest my favorite touring strategy - be sure to write me back if you need more information or have other questions!

    Personally, every Disney vacation must start with the Magic Kingdom! Even if its only for a few hours! Regardless of my age, or my kids ages, the walk down Main St and our first view of Cinderella's Castle still makes us smile!

    After our first day, at the Magic Kingdom, I like to alternate long park days with shorter ones. For us, we do the most walking at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. A sample itinerary for us might be something like: Day 1, Magic Kingdom, Day 2, Hollywood Studios, Day 3, resort & shopping at Downtown Disney, Day 4, Epcot, Day 5, Animal Kingdom. Remaining days: repeat our favorite parks!

    Be sure to schedule time to enjoy your Disney Resort. Every resort offers special activities and fun things to do. You'll want to make sure you have time to enjoy them! Just one example: the Animal Kingdom Lodge offers African Storytelling by a fire pit and viewing the savannas with Night Vision Goggles.

    Another tip is to check out the Extra Magic Hours: our family loves to experience the parks after Dark. The ambiance is so different and magical! The Magic Kingdom does have extended hours on both Nov 13th and 14th, so if you're looking forward to night time touring, be sure visit one of those nights!
