First visit to DW aug 28-sept 2 with 2 adults, 17 month DS and 8 year old DD. Can we bring DS on attractions without HR's? Also, any recommendations for things to do with little ones? We have our dining reservations made including breakfast at royal table

    HI Danielle,

You are so lucky to have your first vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort around the corner! I love Disney the week you are going because the crowds are lower than other times of the summer:)

Unlike other amusement parks, Disney is a theme park. This means there are more rides for families to experience together than not especially since Walt himself wanted it that way.

As long as there are no height restrictions, bring your little one onto the ride. Some rides may be dark but the signs at the front of the queue will indicate that as well.

As for the little one, just have fun and enjoy the little things such as the shows and the magic as they discover the parks. The one thing I love about Disney is that everyone can enjoy it.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
