Hi, this will be our first visit to Disney and really appreciate this panel! My question is, if I want to eat in a restaurant that is in a park like Epcot, do i need a park ticket to get to the restaurant?

    Hi Hannah!
There are many dining experiences at Walt Disney World to enjoy, both in theme park and in resort.  Should you want to dine in a restaurant that is in a theme park, you would need a psrk ticket in order to gain entrance.  There is no other option for dining in park.
Many of the resorts offer wonderful dining experiences, at times some are considered the best on property.  You should consider California Grill at Contemporary resort.  The ambiance can't be beat, with an amazing panoramic view of Seven Seas lagoon and Magic Kingdom.  Or perhaps a fun dining experience at Downtown Disney.  No additional ticket is required for Downtown Disney, and they have an amazing variety of restaurants, from Raglan Road, an Irish inspired restaurant, to Rainforest Cafe.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
