    Hi our first trip to WDW on 10/12/11. I am wondering what the best transportation would be from Animal Kingdom to Mickeys Backyard BBQ?

    I'll be happy to help out with your transportation question!

    The most direct way to get from Animal Kingdom to Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campground, where Mickey's Backyard BBQ is located, is to use Disney bus transportation. The bus will take you directly from the park to the resort.

    Once you arrive at the resort, you'll most likely want to use the internal shuttle to head over to your dinner.
