This is our first trip to wdw. We will be staying at the Pop Century Resort. How long will it take the bus to get to EACH theme park from the Pop's bus station? THANK YOU!!!

    Hi Kraig,

How exciting to be planning your family's first trip to Disney World. It truly is even more magical than you can imagine!

The Disney buses run on average every 10 to 15 minutes and the approximate travel times from Pop Century to the parks are 25-35 minutes to Magic Kingdom, 20-30 minutes to Epcot, 18-28 minutes to Hollywood Studios and 20-30 minutes to Animal Kingdom. Of course these times are the average and are based on not only the actual travel time but estimates given crowds and unexpected delays. Sometimes the travel can be effected by things like heavy traffic, excessive crowds to load and unload or even loading a wheelchair.

I typically allow 60 minutes to travel from resort to park when I plan out my schedule. This is very often more time than necessary but it prevents us from being late for dining reservations or planned activities if the unexpected should occur. Be aware that the Pop Century is a larger resort and therefore more guests are typically waiting for buses at your loading zone. This could create a need to wait forĀ another bus if capacity is reached. The great news is Disney plans for things like this and tries to keep buses running to fit the expected crowd levels. Hope this helps.

    Wishing you an amazing time!
