Hello! Our first trip to WDW is Sept 1-7th. We are staying at the POP resort. Would you suggest taking Disney Transportation even if we have our own vehicle? How long will it take to get to the parks via transporation compared to driving ourselves? Thanks!

Hi Jannette! I love that you don't need a vehicle when staying at a Disney resort. Now, that being said, if I had a car, I'd have a hard time leaving my car behind. For the Magic Kingdom you will need to take a boat or monorail from the parking lot. Given this, it is usually easier and quicker to hop on a bus, which will take you directly to the front of the Magic Kingdom.

It will take you about 20 minutes to get to the Animal Kingdom by bus, and about 15 by car. The drive to Epcot will take about eight minutes, quicker than the 15 minute bus ride. The car ride to the Hollywood Studios will take under ten minutes, and it will take about 15 minutes by bus. Bear in mind you will encounter traffic which will add some time to your commute.

Hope this helps Jannette! Wishing you a magical vacation!
