This is our first trip to WDW & I would like to make reservations for a sit down our first night. Our flight arrives in Orlando at 4:45 pm &staying at Yacht Club. Any recommendations on where to have a sit down dinner & time pending arrival ?

Hey Delilah!   Disney's Yacht Club Resort is simply beautiful, you are really going to enjoy your stay at this lovely hotel.    Make sure you set aside some time to spend in the Stormalong Bay pool, it's a  3-acre splashtastic adventure your whole family will love!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is the perfect location for some delicious Disney Dining.   In your hotel you will find Yachtsman Steakhouse,  a Disney Signature Dining location. A variety of high- quality beef is aged to perfection right in the restaurant.  My favorite is the Prime Rib, and truffle macaroni-and-cheese.   You will also find an extensive wine list, as well as some unique cocktails.

Disney's Boardwalk is a short five minute stroll from your resort, and home to my favorite Signature Dining spot at Walt Disney World, Flying Fish Cafe.   My mouth is watering just thinking about the potato-wrapped red snapper.   Fun decor, and an onstage kitchen add to the lively atmosphere making you feel as if you are truly on a bustling Atlantic boardwalk.   I HIGHLY recommend a dinner at  Flying Fish Cafe,  you may even want to book a return visit before you have even finished your meal.

I would allow at least two to three hours from your arrival time before you book a meal.  This will give your family  ample time to get to your Disney Resort and settle in before heading to your dining plans. Reserving a spot between 8 PM and 9 PM would be a great time frame for your party.

Thanks for stopping by with your great vacation planning question.   If I can be of any further assistance just let me know!

    Happy Disney Dining,
