Hi! First trip to WDW for Oct 2012. We are a famiily of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 4 & 4). Thinking a suite might be nice to put the kids to bed, possibly the new Art of Animation but concerned about amenities compared to mod-deluxe hotels. Thoughts

Hi Amy!  Disney's Art of Animation resort is going to be amazing!  With three themed sections dedicated to solely family suites, and one section of standard rooms, this resort offers a bit of fun for everyone!

The Art of Animation Resorts' family suites offer the following amenities:

    • 2 Bedrooms
    • 2 Bathrooms
    • Mini Kitchen
    • Microwave
    • Compact Refrigerator
    • Coffee maker and other standard amenities (iron, ironing board,

The family suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort include the following amenities:

    • 1 Bedroom with Queen size bed
    • 2 Bathrooms
    • Living room with convertible Double sleeper sofa, convertible sleeper chair, and convertible ottoman
    • Mini Kitchen
    • Coffee maker and other standard amenities (iron, ironing board)

In the moderate resorts, the amenities do not include microwave nor separate sleeping area.
In the deluxe resorts, the amenities also do not include microwave nor separate sleeping area.

As a mom of two kids, I truly like the family suites.  know that I enjoyed being able to relax while my children were sleeping in the next room.   Getting prepared in the morning was a breeze due to the two bathrooms available.

I hope this helps you make your decision, and thanks for stopping by!

Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
